9 Worst Excuses From Obama

Obama has made some pretty outrageous excuses since the beginning of his presidency. Some of these will literally blow your mind. Just how far has he gone? Here are his top 9 worst excuses:

1. Golf-Gate

The President was golfing in Martha’s Vineyard when the Islamic state released the horrifying video of the James Foley beheading. Obama actually went golfing minutes after his press conference. Of course the press went crazy on his insensitivity. What’s even worse is he then said he probably should’ve anticipated the optics, meaning the press’ eyeballs on him, and blamed the press for the incident…what a guy.

2. Excusing Islam

…Obama’s life, since his childhood, has been greatly influenced by Islam–and that is the reason why he’s excusing Islamic terrorism. His sentiment aligns with that of Bob Beckel’s, who also recently said Obama was influenced by his parents who were Muslims and were taught at Muslim schools. Read more…

3. Missing the French rally for terrorism victims

President Barack Obama’s administration admitted it erred by failing to send a higher-ranking representative of the United States to the Paris unity march on Sunday.

“I think it’s fair to say that we should have sent someone with a higher profile to be there,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said Monday afternoon.

He said Obama himself would have liked to attend the march “had the circumstances been a little different.” But planning began Friday night, 36 hours before the event began, and there wasn’t enough time for the “onerous and significant” security work that needed to take place ahead of a presidential visit, Earnest said. He said Obama’s presence also would have meant extra restrictions on the people who were there.

More than 40 world leaders, including the British, German and Israeli heads of state and Russia’s foreign minister, joined at least 1.5 million people on the Paris streets Sunday for a unity march that became France’s biggest-ever public demonstration.

But Obama and his administration’s top hands were nowhere to be found — an absence that triggered complaints that he missed a key leadership opportunity. Get the full story…

4. Excusing Iran

The U.S. made excuses for Iran’s centrifuge test program, saying to it was an error, not cheating…We’re sure that’s TOTALLY what happened…

When nuclear monitors said Iran had started testing a single advanced centrifuge last year, some U.S. politicians and analysts jumped on the report as proof the Islamic Republic can’t be trusted.

To U.S. officials negotiating with Iran, it was probably just a mistake — one that shows the pitfalls in the highly technical accord being discussed. Describing the incident in detail for the first time, U.S. officials, who asked not to be identified following diplomatic rules, said the testing was probably done by a low-level employee on Iran’s nuclear program who didn’t understand the limits placed on his experimentation. 5.Excuses for Isis

When the barbaric videos released from the Islamic State showed the group torturing and murdering hostages, Obama made a false equivalency between Christians and the actions of ISIS.

Much of the world, particularly in the Middle East, erupted with outrage. The intention of the video was to frighten Arabs away from joining alliances to defeat the Islamic State (also known as ISIS, ISIL and “Daesh”), but it had the opposite effect. Middle Eastern leaders condemned the execution. The people of Jordan cheered King Abdullah II when he ordered the immediate execution of two ISIS prisoners and then launched attacks on ISIS targets.

With our Arab partners turned squarely against the Islamic State for its atrocities, the United States has the opportunity to rally support for decisive action to defeat and destroy this threat. Unfortunately, President Obama has not seized this chance.

Instead, he attended the National Prayer Breakfast and stated that, “Unless we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ. Read more…

6. Reason for Releasing Bin Laden’s Bodyguard from Gitmo

Desperate to empty the Guantanamo Bay prison by the end of his term, Obama quietly is giving “get out of jail free” cards for the flimsiest of excuses.

One al Qaeda suspect captured in Afghanistan is considered reformed because he took up yoga and read a biography of the Dalai Lama. Another is eligible for release because of his “positive attitude.”

And one longtime detainee, a former bodyguard for Osama bin Laden, is now harmless because he’s going to start a “milk and honey farm.” Keep reading…

7. Releasing the 5 Top Taliban Commanders in Exchange for POW Bowe Bergdahl

We all know Bergdahl was a deserter, plain and simple. So what did Obama have to say about his release?

President Obama defended the unprecedented prisoner swap that freed Bergdahl after nearly five years in captivity, saying “We were concerned about Sgt. Bergdahl’s health.” Get the full story here…

8. Using Climate Change as an Excuse to Raise Taxes

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) said Wednesday that “climate change occurs no matter what,” but that the EPA’s recent efforts to reduce emissions from existing power plants are “outside of the confines of the law,” and “an excuse to grow government, raise taxes and slow down economic growth.” Keep Reading…

9. Healthcare.gov Failure

Obama claims he was completely unaware that healthcare.gov was going to fail: Barack Obama’s signature issue was the Affordable Care Act. It was the hottest political issue in America. It was constantly in the news. Barack Obama viciously fought off Republican attempts to keep the law from starting up and yet, the website is the biggest disaster since the Titanic. So, how did the Obama Administration explain the disastrous failure of the Obamacare rollout?

In an exclusive interview with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta asked when the President first learned about the considerable issues with the Obamacare website. Sebelius responded that it was in “the first couple of days” after the site went live October 1. “But not before that?” Gupta followed up.

To which Sebelius replied, “No, sir.” Learn more here.
