Why the government would hand millions of dollars in PPP loans to millionaire elites and celebrities and already FORGIVE them – is a travesty of justice.
The pandemic was hard on the vast majority of Americans…
So much so, that many small business owners were forced to close their doors, furlough employees or take out one of the government’s Payment Protection Plan loans in order to make ends meet.
You’d have thought that millionaires and even billionaires would be ineligible for the PPP program – as they already have money in their coffers – and if they wanted to keep their businesses afloat…
They could fund it with their own money.
But you’d have been wrong…
Celebrities like Sean “Diddy” Combs, Reese Witherspoon, rapper Jay-Z and one of the Kardashians ALL received PPP loans to help their business ventures get through the pandemic.
To be honest – I can understand why them and bands like Pearl Jam and Green Day asked for the loan – they have workers that depend on them to get eat…
However, what I don’t understand is why Nancy Pelosi’s husband would need one.
He’s the most prolific trader as of recent years – even outpacing Warren Buffett on all his wins (weird how the husband of the Speaker of the House is that “lucky” with his stock picks)…
How much money from his wife’s employer could he need?
What’s worse though…
Is that most of these loans have already been forgiven – meaning they won’t have to pay back the money they technically borrowed.
However, many small business owners – yours truly included – are being forced to pay back a LOT less money?
It’s elitism at its finest…
And goes to show you that the government is the new ruling class.
What they say… goes.
If you’re one of them – you’re set…
If you’re not – be prepared to pay through the nose.
